Delaware Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a group of people who are passionate about discovering, preserving, and presenting Rock and Roll artists, producers, and promoters past and present. We are Keepin’ the Faith with the Music, the Faces, and the Memories!

George Wolkind – President, lead singer for Snakegrinder 1973 to 1975, and Amazing Space 1976

 

Paula Wolkind – Vice President and Secretary, music fan and dance enthusiast, Newark native

 

Larry Williams – Renowned jazz saxophonist, composer and arranger. Record collector, historian, and co-host of Clifford’s Corner at WVUD radio

 

Kitty Mayo – Blues, jazz, and, rock singer, vocal tutor, ACHI Women’s Magazine Editor’s Choice Award Winner 2018

 

Kate Cowperthwait – A former non profit executive, currently a UD graduate student and lobbyist for several small not for profits. Kate’s son is a drummer for the San Francisco band, BARF

 

Steven Leech -Author and a Delaware cultural historian. He hosts the radio program Boptime at WVUD, where he is in the radio station’s Hall of Fame. He is an editor, since 1980 for the local literary magazine, Dreamstreets

 

Tim Cleary – Premier bassist with 50 years of music experience in Delaware, 20 years with Al Santoro and the Hi-Liters, currently with Glass Onion, 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee

 

Michael Schwartz – Owner,  H Schwartz & Sons steel pipe distribution company.Attended University of Delaware. Produced “Opening Acts†a local access TV show featuring videos of local bands performing original music
